  • Open the Settings menu and Network and Internet. To do so, you can click on Start and then select Settings or click on Action Center, and then click on All Settings. You can also try right-click on Cellular and select “Go to Settings”.
  • Now, click on Network and Internet to open it.
  • Click on Data Usage tab and then on “Set Limit” button from Set Data Usage.
  • For the limit, type selects “Monthly or Onetime”. Now set the following: Limit type, monthly reset date, monthly data limit, and unit.

Resetting Data Usage Limit in Windows 10

Users may also need to reset the data usage if they have already reached the bandwidth limit in their PC. To do so, go for the following steps:

  • Go to settings, “Network and Internet” and then click on the Cellular tab.
  • Then, click on the current active connection and choose Advanced options.
  • After this, turn off the”Set as metered connection” under Data usage section.
  • Finally, shutdown and restart PC to ensure data usage has been reset successfully in Windows 10 PC.
